The receiver allows you to connect seven sources, two of which are video. The same information can be got at any time during work at the sequential pressing of PANEL button. Powerful terminals are provided for the connection of two frontal loudspeakers and simple ones with a spring clap - for the rest of the equipment. Pre-amp has two outputs for the connection of an addition active central loudspeaker and subwoofer. From features we can note the use of a special device DDSC (Dynamic Discrete Surround Circuit) in Dolby Pro Logic, which gives analog signal to the front and central channels and the signal from the special digital microcircuit to the back channels. SURROUND mode is provided in three versions: Dolby Pro Logic, Concert Hall and Live. Signal delay time of back channels is regulated within relatively large limits â€" from 0 to 33 msec. (with a step of 1.5 msec.). In addition, the Denon AVR-900 receiver has quite a deep regulation of back channels’ level - on display is from 0 to 24 dB, and aurally it is very effective. The remote control can control other units too. For clarity its buttons are highlighted into several groups. The setting of two-band tuner on the station is manual and auto. You can write up to 40 stations in the memory, which is divided into five groups. The device showed a well-balanced sound with deep regulations. The tuner’s quality can be characterized as good, especially in VHF range, and in MW range the tuner showed very good sensitivity.
