XQ10 are the most compact shelf systems in this premium series. They are built on the branded module Uni-Q of the last generation with expanded frequency range. In this case it is the assembly, where a 19-mm aluminum tweeter with the branded Tangerine waveguide is placed in the center of 130mm mid-bass membrane. I should remind that the main advantage of such solution is an ideal phase adjustment of the emitters and as a result maximal approximation to a pointed sound source. A bass-reflex port is located in the front that a bit simplifies the placement of monitor speakers in a room. However, despite of this, they are recommended to be placed on some distance from the walls, preferably on the branded racks. And for the lovers of experiments a possibility of two-wire connection to an amplifier is provided.

This English acoustics, despite of its modest swept volume, has almost uncompressed dynamics. Miniature monitor speakers are able to play properly both chamber compositions and quite complex even for floor speaker systems soundtracks with symphonic classics. Bass possibilities of XQ10 are reasonably limited by the sizes of low-range emitter, so it is better to use the speaker systems with subwoofer. The MIDs are full of details, but tones are slightly simplified. The top is honest, detailed, but is a bit weakened by level. I liked sound stage â€" this is one of the few speaker systems, which completely “dissolved” in our listening room.
